We are a Swiss company specialising in plant construction with our own large workshop. Our plants allow our customers to process liquid or solid media in an efficient, reliable and hygienic manner. Furthermore, we offer a wide range of services for systems, components and individual parts, and we carry out numerous different welding and locksmith works as well as diverse repairs.

A summary of our history
amotec AG was founded in 2002. However, our experience in steel construction, container construction and pipe and plant construction dates back much further. We emerged from Herbert Schneider AG in Konolfingen, which was founded in 1967. These roots, going back over 50 years, shape us just as our current membership of the JAG Group does.

In addition to JAG Jakob AG, the JAG Group encompasses subsidiaries in Switzerland, Australia and the Czech Republic. In total, the JAG Group employs around 230 people.
JAG Jakob Ltd is headquartered in Brügg, Bern and is a leading Swiss provider of process plants, automation and robotics.
R. Wick AG strengthens JAG capacities from robot cells to large-scale plants. Thanks to the Wick team, JAG is a leading Swiss system integrator for robotics.
The JAG subsidiary in Brunswick, Melbourne, Australia allows us to fulfil our promise of customer proximity ‘to the ends of the earth’.
The JAG subsidiary in the Czech Republic supplements the Group’s robotics expertise with special experience in mechanical engineering and the plastics industry.
The independent Weibel & Partner AG is an expert partner for all aspects relating to automation in biotechnological research, development and production.
